Stock & Securities
Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other appreciated assets are a smart way to support Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin while also securing tax benefits to increase the impact of your donation. By contributing these assets, you can avoid capital gain taxes that would otherwise apply if you sold them, allowing you to make a larger, more impactful gift.

IRA Distributions
If you’re 70 1/2 or older, you can donate up to $100,000 per tax year directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin. A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to transfer funds from your IRA directly to a qualified charity, avoiding any taxes on the distribution. Additionally, QCDs count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year. To make a QCD gift, your financial institution should make the check payable to “Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin” and include your name and address as the donor.

Vehicle Donation
Donate your car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat to Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin! Vehicle donation pick-up is always free to you and most vehicles can be picked up within 24-72 hours. You'll receive an initial car donation receipt upon pick-up. Once your vehicle is sold, you will be provided tax forms.
