Kevin Schaler – Executive Director

Kevin was born and raised in Neche, North Dakota. After high school, he attended North Dakota State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice / Psychology. Kevin spent the next four years working at a secular treatment center, specifically with women, called Centre Inc. in Fargo, North Dakota. All throughout Kevin’s younger years, the Adult & Teen Challenge choir would visit his church and share their powerful testimonies. It was always a dream of Kevin’s to work for Adult & Teen Challenge. An opportunity arose to work at the North Dakota Adult & Teen Challenge facility, so Kevin applied. Shortly after, in 2011, Kevin became that center’s men’s counselor and worked there for the next four and a half years.

In the fall of 2015, Kevin spent a season away from Adult & Teen Challenge and entered the construction industry becoming an outside sales representative where he would rent and sell equipment. Kevin quickly excelled in this new line of work, and continued in it until August 2017. Kevin and his wife Jessica, got wind of a new Adult & Teen Challenge center being birthed in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area. They, along with their son Gracin, relocated to Wisconsin and are in the process of opening the doors to an Adult & Teen Challenge program for adult women.
