A Long-Term, Faith-Based Drug & Alcohol Recovery Program
Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin offers a long-term, minimum 12-month faith-based recovery program for women 18 years of age and older. This program is specifically designed to help individuals find healing and ultimate freedom from drugs and alcohol. Physical damage is an obvious byproduct of substance abuse, however, there is a ripple effect and the damage spreads and affects everything within and around the individual.
We work diligently to address and assist women to heal on a heart level, so that the destructive patterns end, and healthy habits are established. All of our curriculum is Bible-based. Our students learn to recognize the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives, apply God’s Word to their life circumstances, invite the power of God to help them overcome their life-controlling problems, and learn to become more Christ-like. As a result, we see God change people from the inside out. Our goal is life transformation and total restoration.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
Why is this a faith-based program?
When a person is struggling with addiction, they usually feel like they’ve lost themselves and don’t know how to get back. According to the Bible, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can help light the way back, and bring healing to the heart, which in turn brings external healing.
Through faith, the students of Adult and Teen Challenge are able to find themselves through God and form a new identity. Once that new identity is formed, there is a stronger sense of self and faith, which is a powerful weapon in the battle against addiction. This may be the answer you or a loved one has been seeking. Please contact us today and begin this process of healing and freedom.
